Reporting To
Managing Director
Responsible for
* Hospitality & Events.
* Bar & Service
* Catering
* Management of third party services e.g. clubhouse cleaning, various suppliers etc.
Role
To manage and oversee Hospitality & Events at a unique location including routine day to day clubhouse maintenance, stock and staff.
Responsibility & Duties
* Manage and oversee the front of house, Bar and catering operation in its entirety to meet targets in respect of GP, wastage and labour.
* Build and maintain customer relationships, serving as our primary point of contact for large events and parties.
* Plan and deliver functions and events to the requirements of the Club and their clients
* Working with the senior management team to development and market events and hospitality to maximise use of the facilities at the venue.
* Working with the senior management team to develop promotional materials, promotions or specialty packages to entice new customers.
* Handle customer queries and complaints when necessary
* Responsible for the interview and selection of departmental staff, including training, supervision, performance management and disciplinary matters.
* Negotiate the purchase of supplies to ensure required margins are met whilst maintaining competitive club prices working with other senior managers.
* Ensure the house and all facilities are maintained, clean and presentable at all times.
* Ensure all statutory requirements and Club policies are met, managed and documented including department Health & Safety.
* To comply with all legislative processes involved concerning the day-to-day operation of the Club regarding licencing law and employment law.

Person Specification
As a manager you will ideally have/be:
* Proven experience, managing a similar Hospitality venue
* Proactive & Enthusiastic
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Problem-solving aptitude
* Proven ability to manage and motivate staff and create a good team atmosphere.
* Customer centric attitude.
* Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
* Hold a desire to deliver high standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Personal License Holder
* First Aider
* Level 3 Food Safety
Working Hours
Normal working week of 37.5 hours
