We are looking for a CBT Therapist for The Priory Wellbeing Centre in Oxford City Centre – Salary £38,000-£48,000
This role is a hybrid role, the successful candidate will be required to be on site some days to do face-to-face sessions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified CBT Therapist to join our team who presently provide therapy on a group and individual basis. Candidates will have a recognised post graduate diploma in CBT theory and practice. BABCP membership and accreditation or working towards this is required.
Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford is located right in the heart of Oxford’s city centre, and we offer easy access to exceptional outpatient treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders and addictions, as well as a dedicated young people’s service. We are based on the top floor of a bright and airy building providing privacy and comfort to each and every one of our patients, and with flexible evening and weekend appointments available, we enable even the busiest of people to access the mental health support that they need.
Our highly experienced multi-disciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes alongside the use of a wide range of therapies.
What you need to apply:
1. Interested in dynamic short-term therapy with insightful clients who are motivated to change
2. Providing high quality interventions in accordance with NICE guidance
3. An inspirational collaborator with excellent communication skills
4. Have previous experience in the area of acute mental health
5. Skilled in the facilitation of a range of group interventions.

Due to site being in the middle of a shopping centre and the need for staff to travel/use public transport, you will be supported with a monthly payment to help cover some of your travel expenses
Candidates should have an experience in both intervening individually and delivering group work. Additional experience with Mindfulness and other Third Wave approaches are welcome but a fluency with Cognitive Models and their applicability to Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Phobias and other conditions is vital.
In addition to your specialist therapeutic competence, excellent verbal and written communication, professional interpersonal skills, efficient and accountable record management and proficiency with IT are essential attributes.
You must have the required registration with the relevant Professional body BABCP and adhere to the associated Code of Conduct.
