Job Description
* Manage rent accounts and ensure timely collection of rental income
* Monitor arrears and take appropriate action to prevent them from escalating
* Provide advice and guidance to tenants about rent payments and benefits
* Prepare and present reports on income collection for management
* Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions and communication with tenants
* Liaise with other departments and external agencies to resolve issues
* Adhere to company policies and statutory regulations related to property management
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the department
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Housing Income Officer' should have:
* Proficiency in managing rental income
* Knowledge of property management regulations
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with tenants and stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills to monitor and report on income collection
* The ability to work effectively in a team
* A qualification in property management or a related field
