An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our Older Adult Mental Health Liaison Team.
This service provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment, treatment and planning of care for people over the age of 65 (or under 65 if there is a diagnosis of a dementia illness) across Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Rosewell House and Woodend Hospital. The team are based in Royal Cornhill Hospital.
Our service, within these hospital settings, promotes good practices of care for people experiencing complex physical and mental health problems. Proven excellent communication skills will allow integration of the Liaison Team within these acute settings and are essential with a positive attitude to support an ever changing service and enhance working relationships with all staff within these areas.
This post will help to ensure that the ethos of the "right patient, being in the right place, at the right time, with the right care being delivered, by the right staff, supported by the right skills” is upheld.

Candidates must be able to work autonomously.
