Job Title: Psychology Tutor
Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based Further Education provider
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £22 – £22 Per hour + statutory holiday pay
Job Description
Job Duties:
1. Deliver engaging and informative introductory psychology lessons to students
2. Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding of psychological concepts
3. Prepare lesson plans, materials, and activities to facilitate learning
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Required Qualifications:
5. A relevant degree in Psychology or a closely related field
6. A Teaching Qualification
Experience:
7. Prior experience in teaching or tutoring psychology concepts is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
8. Strong understanding of basic psychology principles
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
Working Conditions:
11. Delivering on Mondays for 8 weeks starting 13/01/2025
12. Session time: 18:30 – 20:30
