As a Training Designer/ Instructional Designer, you will be instrumental in creating training content and curriculums that empower individuals to safely and effectively engage in technical diving and submersible operations. This role is ideal for a digital native who is passionate about the scientific potential of deep-sea exploration and oceanic discovery. Day to Day of the Role: Develop detailed lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and instructional guides for various skill levels, incorporating real-world scenarios. Create engaging and interactive training content, including e-learning modules, manuals, presentations, and multimedia resources. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of training materials. Apply adult learning theories and instructional design best practices to create effective, learner-centred training programmes. Support and guide instructors and facilitators on the delivery of training programmes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories. Proficiency in using e-learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Demonstrable success in producing high-volume training content and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly. Experience in designing assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Desirable: Recognised qualification in training such as CTT or CIPD, and a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or Education.
