Apprentice Service Engineer
£15k-£18k (based on apprenticeship wage whilst training, which will increase after 12 months, and can be considerable once qualified and in the field) + Benefits
Due to continuing expansion across the UK my client is seeking an apprentice service engineer to cover the South West region, working alongside and learning from experienced engineers.
You will receive ongoing training and the opportunity to undertake formal qualifications to become a qualified compressor service engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities Once trained will likely be:
1. Undertake planned and preventative maintenance of compressed air systems and blowers
2. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repair
3. Install and commission air compressors, blowers and associated ancillary equipment
4. Aluminium & Steel pipework installations
5. Complete service reports, timesheets and recommendations in a timely manner
6. Recommend additional work that assists the customers and enhances performance
