Teaching Personnel are looking for a candidate to work as a Behavioural Support Assistant at a school in the Watford area. The pupils have found it hard to settling in to mainstream provisions and school closures have had a significant impact on engagement levels, so it is vital that effective and engaging intervention is provided to guarantee a promising future for them.
This role is temporary, but with the view to becoming permanent if you settle into the job well.
Pay will start at £90 per day, with working hours typically being from 8:30 to 15:30.
The successful candidate will possess:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience managing behaviour
Team Teach trained (desirable)
Main responsibilities would involve:
Intervening to manage challenging behaviour of pupils
Engaging students to ensure they stay on track with the curriculum
Reporting back to the relevant parties to promote a high standard of care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
