We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Manager to oversee the management of our company’s plant, vehicle, and personal protective equipment (PPE) processes. This pivotal role will ensure the efficient upkeep and tracking of all company-owned plant, manage external plant hire processes, and maintain accurate vehicle records.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Management
* Maintain comprehensive records on the asset register.
* Ensure current PAT testing records for all equipment.
* Manage the booking in and out of internal plant for projects.
* Review and record weekly plant sheets to identify action points.
* Control the on/off hire of external plant equipment.
Commercial Responsibilities
* Raise purchase orders for all external plant hires and validate costs against procurement rates.
* Communicate with Site Managers to confirm any necessary extensions to hire periods.
* Increase purchase order values in line with revised durations.
