My client, a leading organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation, is seeking a talented IT Programme Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile initiative, merging multiple websites and applications into a unified, state-of-the-art platform.
The Role
As the IT Programme Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of this transformation project, ensuring alignment with business goals, stakeholder expectations, and industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver a seamless, scalable, and future-proof digital solution.
Key responsibilities include:
* Defining programme objectives, timelines and deliverables.
* Leading the integration of multiple systems into a single cohesive platform.
* Managing stakeholders across various departments, ensuring transparent communication and buy-in.
* Implementing robust risk and issue management strategies.
* Overseeing project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Ensuring compliance with IT governance, accessibility, and security standards.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic leadership, technical expertise and stakeholder management skills.
Specifically, you will have:
* Demonstrable experience managing large-scale IT transformation programmes, ideally involving website and application integration.
* Proven track record of working on app programmes or projects, with a deep understanding of app development lifecycles and platforms.
* Proficiency in programme and project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
* A solid understanding of IT systems, platforms, and best practices in digital transformation.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* A proven ability to manage complex budgets and resources effectively.
