Nursery Practitioner Opportunity
Are you passionate about nurturing young children and supporting their early education? If so, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner to join a reputable nursery in Southport.
Your Role: As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll be a key member of our team, working with experienced staff to create an enriching environment for the children. Your duties will include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, supporting personal care needs, assisting with mealtimes, and fostering a positive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Monitor and record children’s progress and development.
* Build positive relationships with children and parents.
* Ensure a safe and hygienic environment at all times.
* Support children’s emotional well-being and offer comfort when needed.
* Work collaboratively with the team to create a stimulating learning space.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or equivalent.
* Experience in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for early childhood development.
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. We promote work-life balance and offer a supportive working environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
