Amnis are pleased to be working with a good high school academy in the Wigan area. The SENCO is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with high SEMH needs. You will be predominantly working with this student on a 1:1 basis, to support them with their social, emotional, and mental health needs. However, you will be working as part of a wider supportive team of teaching assistants within the Special Educational Needs department, and you will therefore be supporting students across the school.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity to work in a supportive, friendly and professional working environment. You will be made to feel welcome and join a dynamic team of SEN professionals. The job is full time to start as soon as possible. The working hours are 8:30 - 3:30, Monday - Friday, term-time only. There is potential for this temporary job to lead on to a contract further down the line.
