CRE Marine designs and manufactures a range of all-metal shell connectors, fibre optic products, strain terminations, penetrators and junction boxes for extremely heavy duty use and are trusted in the most rigorous underwater applications on the planet from splash zone to full ocean depth.
The role of the Internal Sales Representative is to Support the Internal Sales Function with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering timely and accurate commercial proposals that meet customer needs. You will support our existing client network, collaborate with internal teams to exceed customer expectations, and contribute to the growth of the CRE brand. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, from administrative support to active participation in trade shows and client meetings. Your work will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and deliver timely, accurate commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
* Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
* Work closely with purchasing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Ensure all activities comply with company guidelines and operating procedures.
* Assist in expanding the CRE brand by engaging with new clients and fostering strong relationships.
* Participate in trade shows and attend client meetings, both virtually and in-person, to represent CRE.
* Support the Client Account Manager in keeping price books accurate and up-to-date.
* Review first-time manufacture builds effectively to ensure quality before production begins.
* Collaborate with the Quality Supervisor to resolve Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and client complaints.
* Provide knowledge and support for commercial proposal queries.
* Assist the administration team with demand-driven procurement tasks.
* Engage in continuous training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
* Perform any other tasks as assigned by management to support the business.
Experience and Skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain discipline in a fast-paced environment.
* Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Develop a thorough understanding of CRE and OEM product ranges.
* Learn and master the quote process and client interactions for CRE and OEM products.
* Essential skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Familiarity with Sage or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
