Part-time role, circa 25 hours per week, flexi-time to suit you, working 3 or 4 days a week for an initial 9-month contract. Coventry HQ, office based. The role will focus on working with suppliers within a national retail consortium, building close relationships with suppliers and partners, obtaining, checking and inputting data received from suppliers, then engaging with suppliers to improve the quality of commercial data. Key Daily activities Engage with and gather data from the suppliers Contacting suppliers by phone, building relationships and seeking to improve the quality of data received and supporting suppliers in a friendly way will be key to success Analyse quality of commercial pricing data and expediting correct information, identifying gaps in data and compliance with data standards Using Excel, cross-check received pricing against existing prices in the current system Engage with suppliers highlighting areas for improvement Key Experience Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships Well-organised diligent multi-tasker and self-starter Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to highlight missing and incorrect data Good understanding of written English to highlight poor text descriptions and content Good Microsoft - Excel (Pivot tables / Vlookup) and Word skills Ability to present in meetings to internal team and partners Persuasive, friendly and professional, good team player
