Job description
Our client, a leading consultancy in the UK, is currently seeking a skilled Document Controller to join their team. As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Organising, processing, and maintaining project documentation to ensure timely availability
2. Creating and updating document control procedures to enhance efficiency
3. Collaborating with project teams to collect and distribute documentation
4. Managing document control systems, including electronic document management systems
5. Reviewing and verifying documents for quality and accuracy
6. Maintaining document logs and registers
7. Supporting the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks
Job Requirements:
8. Significant experience in document control, preferably within the construction industry
9. Proficiency in AutoCAD
10. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
13. High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office
