First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Service Coordinator on behalf of one of our fantastic clients based in Bedfordshire.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Warranty Management and Liaison
2. Planning of Breakdown/Servicing jobs and managing and booking in a spreadsheet of outstanding works.
3. Management of Sales Orders including weekly meetings to resolve outstanding jobs.
4. Overseeing the Stock Processes.
5. Supporting delivery team lead and the team with all tasks required.
6. Input jobs on one link system.
7. Dealing with incoming Service emails and phone calls.
8. Overseeing the Service Calendar (Outlook).
9. Managing Engineer whereabouts and schedules.
10. Ensuring tasks carried out are subject to quality control and sign off.
11. Booking and Managing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI’s) of new vehicles.
12. Liaison with sales regarding PDI’s, Delivery Dates and Warranty expiry.
13. Co-ordinate the completion of sales orders for month end and liaise with Finance.
14. Stock count support.
15. Raising Quotes/Sales Orders with SAGE.
16. Comply with all aspects of UK Policies & Procedures.
17. Maintain a culture of best practice by attending training courses, both internal and external when and where appropriate.
18. Work safely at all times and in accordance with the company’s health & safety procedures. Precautions should be taken as necessary when visiting sites, adopting the required PPE.

22. To be able to deal with customer requests and react quickly while still following process when short notice is given.
23. Pro-active and can work on own initiative.
24. Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines, quick to learn and able to retain knowledge.
25. Competent in the use of the Windows package – Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, Access.
26. Demonstrate good organisational skills.
27. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good standard of English.
28. Be able to communicate confidently and effectively with people at all levels.
29. To be a team player with a positive outlook and a professional image.
30. Flexibility in approach with the ability to adapt from task to task.
31. To be reliable and able to understand the importance of being punctual and impact of absence.
32. Commitment and loyalty to the business.

Location: Roxton, Bedfordshire
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
