Position: Humanities Teacher
Location: Tyldesley, Manchester
Hours: 40 hours per week, term time
Salary Details: £30, per annum
The Headteacher is seeking to appoint an aspiring Teacher to join this thriving specialist SEMH School. Reporting to the Headteacher, they will be responsible for the delivery of engaging and challenging lessons, ensuring that the department and the school are successful in achieving its aims. Person Specification:
1. Understanding of teaching, learning and qualifications.
2. Teaching qualification and subject specialism.
3. Experience of working in non-mainstream settings with challenging learners.
4. Ability to empathise and support the development of learning.
5. Robust understanding of safeguarding procedures.
6. Ability to work as part of a small team.
7. Excellent delivery and communication skills.
8. You must be reliable, flexible, adaptable, and possess the ability to motivate and inspire.
9. Good coordination and organisational skills.
10. Demonstrable track record of student achievement.
11. Innovative, fast thinking and versatile.
12. Excellent time management.
13. Good general level of ICT skills including Microsoft Office.
14. Experience of working with E3/L1/L2 qualifications.
