We are now seeking an Electrician to carry out void electrical works in the Norwich area. You'll join us in supporting our ongoing partnership with Orbit; now in its twelfth year providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team, focusing on working in void properties. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), addressing any necessary NEC1 and C2 issues, and conducting comprehensive inspection and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Your day-to-day tasks will include wiring new kitchen circuits as part of kitchen upgrade works and the installation and replacement of extraction fans. You will carry out detailed testing and inspection (BICR) to identify any potential electrical faults or hazards and take appropriate action to resolve them.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical inspection, testing, and fault diagnosis, with the ability to work efficiently and independently in void properties. A high standard of work and attention to detail is essential to ensure all installations and upgrades meet safety and regulatory standards.
Role Criteria:
* A NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification
* City and Guilds 18th Edition (Willing to take on 17th Edition electrician if candidate is willing to go through training for 18th T’s & C’s apply)
* Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent
* AM2 Qualification
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Be a great team player as well as have the ability to work under your own initiative.
* Ideally hold City & Guilds Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing qualification 2377
