Fantastic opportunity has arisen with a forward thinking Somerset based law firm for a Legal Finance Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role with the option for hybrid/flexible working and a competitive salary. The firm is looking for experienced and dynamic individuals, looking for a long-term role with the firm.
Role involves:
1. Oversee and manage the legal accounting team
2. Prepare the monthly management accounts
3. Monitor account reconciliation
4. Prepare VAT returns
5. Supervise production of payroll
6. Take responsibility for balance sheet reporting
7. Production of financial budgeting forecasts
8. Oversee the bank accounts and prepare cash flow forecasts
9. Deal with year end accounting
10. Certify that statutory financial compliance requirements are met
11. Ensure compliance with SRA legal accounting regulations and reporting
Required skills:
1. Previous experience in a similar role
2. Knowledge of legal accounting advantageous
3. Prior experience in managing a team is desirable
4. Relevant qualification in finance, accounting or a related field
