We are looking for a visionary Head of Product to lead our product strategy and development initiatives. This role is vital in shaping the future direction of our product portfolio, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry trends while championing customer satisfaction. Role Purpose: As the Head of Category/Product, you will take ownership of the performance across our key categories. By collaborating with essential stakeholders in commercial functions, you will design and deliver effective product strategies and manage product lifecycles to meet and exceed KPIs. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead the Category team, fostering collaboration and innovation to meet strategic objectives. New Product Development: Own and create the 3-year NPD roadmap, consistently evaluating market changes and legislative requirements to identify needs for our Advanced Development roadmaps. Stage Gate Management: Oversee NPD roadmap updates and transitions, ensuring cross-functional teams are aligned and contributing to the delivery of NPD projects. Product Strategy: Design and implement the product strategy, ensuring all proposals align with the Long Range Plan (LRP) and product objectives. Vitality Index: Own and optimise the vitality index for brands, seeking solutions for performance gaps. Category Performance Management: Drive category revenue, margin, and volume, ensuring accountability for performance metrics and aligning with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritise product development and timelines, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals. Voice of the Customer: Champion customer feedback by facilitating market engagement, collaborating with Customer Experience (CX) and Sales to integrate insights into product roadmaps and initiatives. Analysis and Insights: Guide the team in utilising analytical techniques and systems to derive actionable insights for decision-making and strategic planning. Key Qualifications: Extensive experience in product management and category leadership within a relevant industry. Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, with a proven ability to interpret market trends. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with Senior Leaders across multiple functions. Ability to manage complex projects and prioritise requirements effectively.
