Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring students stay on task
* Manage classroom behaviour, creating a positive and controlled learning environment
* Ensure that students understand and complete the tasks set by their regular teacher
* Follow school policies and procedures, particularly regarding safeguarding and pupil welfare
* Provide feedback to the school on lesson outcomes and any significant observations about student progress or behaviour
* Adapt to a range of subjects and year groups, with no need to plan or mark work
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a teacher, ideally with QTS
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
* A flexible and positive attitude toward teaching in different environments
* Commitment to upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
