Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our well established, friendly, forward thinking nursing team. We are a city practice based in Derby with a branch site in Spondon Village just three miles away. This role will require the applicant to work at both our surgery sites.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoys working with the general public in a fast paced environment, work flexibly, have the ability to multitask, be organised and work as part of well established and close team

Practice Nurse Experience is essential and key duties will include

Cervical cytology
Immunisation and vaccinations
Contraception and sexual health

Ear Syringing
Prior experience of working with SystmOne clinical system would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given, so a willingness and ability to learn quickly will be key to your success in this role.
About us
We are an outstanding clinical team consisting of 5 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 2 GP Registrars, 3 Advanced Clinical Practitioners 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, 4 Pharmacists, 2 Physiotherapists and 1 Mental Health Worker serving approximately 12,000 patients. We have a strong ethos of teaching and training and have two GP registrars and regular medical students. We have trained multiple Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist.
