Job summary
The Child Health Department is looking to appointment and enthusiastic Support Secretary to support the delivery of services within our department.
The successful post holder will be a highly motivated team player with sound administrative skills. Computer literacy and typing experience is essential for the role. You will be self-motivated and organised and have a flexible approach to work. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A clear understanding of confidentiality issues and being able to work to deadlines is also required. The role will include general support of typing, audio typing, database work and administrative duties including cover for colleagues within the Child Health Department at times of service need.

Working days/hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8am-4pm.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibility of this role is to ensure the organisation and delivery of patient's information to a high standard and in a timely manner.
You will work closely with assigned Consultants and other Medical Staff to provide a comprehensive secretarial service and support the administrative aspects of their role.
You will work as part of an integral secretarial team within a busy department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
