My client is looking for an experienced pump engineer to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a 'can do' attitude with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a pump service / maintenance / installation role undertaking PPM visits and on-call rota. Experience in maintaining packaged sewage treatment plants is preferred but not essential.
Pump Service Engineer role:
1. Travel to customer sites throughout the North, Midlands, and Southern UK.
2. Undertake PPM maintenance activities with another team member or solo.
3. Undertake reactive maintenance activities with another team member or solo.
4. Work as part of an out-of-hours rota.
5. Identify remedial works and report back with full details to enable effective quoting.
6. Responsible attitude towards efficiency and Health and Safety.
7. Build good relationships with clients.
8. Complete time sheets.
Pump Service Engineer requirements:
1. 5 years' experience in pump service and maintenance.
2. Can do attitude.
3. Confined Space Trained.
4. Willing to work away.
5. Desire to progress both your career and the interests of the company.
6. Be able to fault find electrically in control panels.
7. Average of 2 nights away from home per week.
Pump Service Engineer package:
Salary £35k + overtime (OTE £45k - £48k)
