Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to:
* Need to be able to strap your load up safely to ensure the load doesn't shift in transit
* Operate and drive various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
* Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption.
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.
Essential Skills
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
1. Hold a valid UK C+E Licence (CLASS 1)
