Senior Electronics Engineer required on a permanent basis in Exeter. Hybrid, up to £60K. Responsibilities As a key member of our small, highly dynamic team, you will take on a variety of responsibilities and challenges. Your key responsibilities will include: Designing and developing custom Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). Managing projects from initial prototypes through to mature, market-ready products. Acting as the technical lead in communications with suppliers. Identifying and mitigating technical risks within projects. Conducting proactive testing, fault finding, and optimisation of designs. Leading product certification processes, with a focus on IEC 61010 and EMC standards. Preparing and maintaining technical reports and test documentation. Collaborating closely with the technical team, including firmware and mechanical development. Skills and experience A relevant degree or equivalent industrial experience. Chartered (or near-chartered) engineer status. Strong experience with 32-bit microcontrollers, IoT devices, and embedded communication interfaces. Proficiency with Altium Designer and simulation tools such as SPICE. Solid knowledge of safety, EMC, and radio communications regulatory standards.
