The role will involve a commitment to client care, effective case management, and active participation in business development. The ideal candidate will have experience in charity relations and be a member of the Law society Medical negligence panel and/or AvMa.
Requirements
1. Compile evidence in support of claims
2. Evaluate the merits of claims
3. Identify legal and medical issues
4. Calculate appropriate damages
5. Draft schedules of loss and statements
6. Instruct and liaise with medical experts and Counsel
7. Communicate and negotiate with Defendant Solicitors
8. Maintain clear communication with clients
9. Comply with Civil Procedure Rules and Court directions
10. Provide guidance and support to junior fee earners
11. Build and nurture contacts to promote business development
12. Lead structured initiatives to generate referrals and connections
