A secondary school in Wigan is a flourishing 11-16 secondary school that is proud to provide an exceptional education for children. They are looking for an enthusiastic teacher of Art to join our school. The position will be mainscale, teaching across the age range, and would suit someone new to the profession or someone with classroom experience.

3. Type of work – Supply Teacher
4. Start date – September 2024
5. Duration / Likely Duration – Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools
6. End date (if applicable) – N/A
7. Contract type – Temporary
8. Full time/part time – Part time and full time depending on schools needs
9. Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £120 per day
10. Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
11. QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
12. Previous experience working in a UK school
13. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
16. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
