Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.
With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.
Job Advert Location Description
Woodhouse Hall is located in East Ardsley, in West Yorkshire. It offers residential support for 19 adult males and females with a range of needs. These include people with a learning disability, mental health needs, people on the autism spectrum, and those with a personality disorder. We are in a semi-rural location, off the main road from East Ardsley to Tingley.
We believe that each person we care for is a unique individual and as such will have a personal plan of support. We strive to encourage our residents to exercise their own choices, feelings and emotions. We encourage independence through our philosophy of care and support people's wishes to privacy and dignity with total respect for personal beliefs and views.
Job Advert Role Description
Support workers help our residents with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. We are passionate about providing excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome or mental health conditions. As a support worker, you will have the opportunity to be part of 1000s of stories of inspiring care and support for our residents.
Support workers are key workers, and provide direct support to our residents – get in touch if you’re not looking for a ‘work from home’ job!
