The Recruitment Consultant – SME Enterprise role requires a valid driving licence and involves regular travel across Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, and Durham to build and maintain relationships with learners and partners. This position is office-based in South Shields for two days a week, with the other three days spent in the field. Daily calls with prospective learners and partners are essential for maintaining consistent engagement and effective relationship management. Mileage will be reimbursed per company policy, and a mobile phone and laptop will be provided to support your work.
Key Responsibilities
* Learner Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for prospective learners, conducting daily calls and using customer service and sales skills to encourage enrolment and attendance.
* Relationship Management: Develop strong connections with learners and referral partners through daily communication and consistent engagement to drive programme success, including ongoing support for learner transition to the learning team.
* Events and Networking: Represent the company at events and build partnerships with recruitment and referral agencies.
* Record Management: Maintain accurate records of learner enrolment and engagement, ensuring compliance with organisational processes.
* Marketing Support: Assist in creating marketing materials, managing social media, and maintaining the website to support learner recruitment.
* Flexibility in Tasks: Support various projects by taking on additional tasks as needed.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
* Experience: Up to 3 years in customer service or sales, with a proactive approach to customer engagement.
* Driving Requirement: A valid driving licence is required to travel to various locations for building and maintaining partnerships.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, effective listening, and the ability to conduct daily calls with learners and partners.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong IT skills, along with effective organisational and administrative abilities.
* Adaptability: Capability to handle changing and challenging situations with confidence and to learn new skills as the role evolves.
* Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
