Job Title: SEN Residential Support Worker (Night Shift)

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Residential Support Worker to join our team in Burton-on-Trent, Derbyshire. This is a full-time, night shift position working with students with high needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other special educational needs (SEN).
About the Role:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing outstanding care and support to students with SEN in a residential setting. You will be working with young people who require 24-hour care, including overnight assistance, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development during night shifts.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support to students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other related needs.
Assist with daily routines and personal care where required.
Support students with activities of daily living, ensuring their dignity, independence, and safety.
Maintain a safe and secure environment during night shifts, reporting any incidents or concerns promptly.
Promote positive behaviour and help develop students' social and life skills.
Work closely with other staff members and communicate effectively with external agencies, families, and professionals.
About You:
Essential:
Must be qualified in Residential Care or a related field.
Must have prior experience working with SEN students in a residential or care setting.
Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and other related SEN.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
Flexibility to work night shifts and a full-time schedule.
