Installers Assistant
Job Role
We are seeking an Installer assistant of structural and architectural metalwork, glazed balustrades, and balconies. Working alongside a skilled Installer, you will be expected to follow instruction, ensuring that you fully understand the tasks you are undertaking. This is a permanent, full-time position offering good rates of pay working with a market leader. This position is based in London and its surrounding areas. The ability to drive is advantageous due to meeting site supervisors.
Job Criteria • Following the Health and Safety structure• Follow instruction from an Installer, Site Supervisor or Site Manager• Working knowledge of basic hand tools• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills• Working in a team environment and respect all teammates
Desirable Criteria • Have previous experience in similar role• CSCS card (as a minimum to meet standard site rules)• Experience in similar role advantageous but not essential
Hours of work, pay and benefits
• 40 hours a week with opportunities of overtime at higher rates• Travel time paid and included in overtime• £NMW - £11.45 per hour DOE• Expected income between 25k - 35k• Pension scheme
