This is a self employed position, which gives a broker a huge amount of independency and freedom. You would be representing a highly respected firm with a strong reputation, national presence, and great resources. The role can be fully remote, giving Oak Finance a presence from Scotland to Watford (where the office is based). There are no specific targets, the sky is the limit, and Oak Finance will help you reach that ceiling.
The ideal candidate will already have some form of client base, that they are able to bring over and work with. This is an important feature of the position.
Mortgage broker Position Overview
Client Consultation:
Meet with clients to assess their financial situation, discuss their mortgage requirements, and provide personalized advice.
Mortgage Product Selection:
Research and evaluate mortgage products from various lenders to identify options that meet clients' needs and preferences.
Present mortgage options to clients, explaining the features, benefits, and terms of each product.
Application Assistance:
Assist clients with completing mortgage applications, gathering required documentation, and submitting applications to lenders.
Liaise with lenders on behalf of clients to negotiate terms and secure mortgage approvals.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial assessments to determine clients' borrowing capacity, affordability, and eligibility for mortgage financing.
Provide guidance on budgeting, debt management, and credit improvement strategies as needed.
Compliance and Regulation:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing mortgage brokering activities.
Stay updated on changes in mortgage regulations, interest rates, and lending practices.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence through exceptional service and advice.
Follow up with clients throughout the mortgage process, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
Must have a client bank, and leads must be self-generated. It is vitally important, to have a consistent flow of leads and work.
