Our client is looking for a Field Business Development Manager to join their expanding, busy team. The role will be visiting clients F2F up to 3 days per week across the UK. The rest of the week will be office based in Bridgend and conducting meetings via Teams.
Essential
•A wealth of Business Development experience
•Track record of achieving targets & deadlines
•Excellent communication skills (verbal & email) & ability to build rapport with clear telephone manner.
•Highly competent in Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
•Flexibility and ability to multi-task & prioritise with disciplined follow up
•Strong research, listening & presenting skills
•Strong listening, presenting & closing skills
•Learn and follow the company’s sales process, using questioning to identify customer pain-points
Responsibilities
•Spend up to 3 days a week visiting clients F2F, setting up trials, carrying out surveys and following the sales process. The rest of the time would be taken up with teams meetings, new business prospecting and pipeline management
•Maintain a healthy and accurate pipeline through regular follow ups and other pipeline management activities
•Make Cold Outbound Phone calls, follow up with outbound sales calls intro emails & Linked In messages
•Grow existing accounts by identifying other opportunities whether this be new products or other sites in a group
•Attend daily huddle weekly 1-2-1 meeting & monthly sales meeting. Contribute ideas to increase sales
•Attend trade shows / exhibitions (when required). Answer the phone when required.
•Any other tasks or duties as required by the business and requested by your manager
