Senior Marketing Executive Up to £35k base package. Edinburgh based. Alexander Steele are delighted to announce that we have partnered with a successful and market-leading FMCG brand to find a Senior Marketing Executive to join their growing team. Summary of Role: Must have experience in traditional, offline marketing. The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for managing and executing marketing campaigns, collaborating with various teams to produce promotional materials, analysing consumer trends, and supporting the overall brand strategy to boost company awareness and sales. Campaign Management and Execution Maintain an up-to-date marketing calendar on a seasonal basis, in line with the business’ annual strategy. Support and launch in-store and marketing campaigns, ensuring all material arrives in store on time. Continually evolve the campaign and distribution process. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for promotional materials. Track campaign performance and provide analytical feedback. Promotional Materials Support the design, production, and distribute of in-store promotional materials such as posters, banners, and point-of-sale displays. Ensure brand consistency across all materials. Coordinate with the purchasing team on promotional inventory. Collaboration with Sales and Store Teams Work closely with stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns in line with business strategies and sales goals. Ensure effective communication to store staff via planograms and zenput to ensure understanding of ongoing campaigns and promotions. Assist with the co-ordination of setting up stores, new in-store displays and promotions. Additional responsibilities: Organize and execute special in-store events or promotions. Ensure Marketing projects are delivered within budget and that a PO is raised and recorded for all spend. Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and agencies, create a Marketing plan in line with what material stores will receive when as per the agreed contract. Stay updated with the latest retail marketing trends and best practices. Attend workshops, conferences, or seminars to gain new insights and skills. Visit stores min twice per quarter, especially around new campaign implementation. Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business. Monitor Marketing stock levels, ensuring stock levels adequate for all distributions and held stock is current. Review stores competitor analysis on a biweekly basis and device a relevant Marketing plan where relevant. Develop and Support the Marketing Assistant in their role and especially across New Store Openings. The ideal candidate will have: At least 2 years’ experience in retail marketing. Campaign management experience. Experience in fast paced Marketing team and the ability to manage multiple projects at any one time. Excellent presentation skills. Excellent in store execution with high attention to execution detail. Experience working with Stakeholders across multiple depts.
