Weare currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse (RGN) or MentalHealth Nurse (RMN) to work in our Rochdale & Oldham ActiveRecovery (ROAR) Substance Misuse Service as a Specialist SubstanceMisuse Nurse, where you’ll have the chance to make a realdifference to the lives of the people we support who areexperiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol usage.

Role Responsibility
Youwill undertake a diverse role including running well-being clinicsin the community including full healthcare assessments, Blood BorneVirus screening and vaccination, supporting the management ofalcohol and opiate community detoxifications and other harmreduction and well-being interventions.
You willhave a real opportunity to help shape service delivery andcontribute to delivering clinically excellent services.
The Ideal Candidate
You will need to be a qualified nurseregistered with the Nursing & MidwiferyCouncil.
As an employee you will have access to RCNi to assist withrevalidation, indemnity insurance and support and supervision fromthe nurse manager and clinical lead.
And ofcourse, we’re looking for a Nurse who loves talking to people withdifferent needs, is genuinely interested in helping them, andpossesses a deep level of empathy, understanding andpatience.
