My client, near Newquay, are seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant at this 4-star family-friendly hotel.As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience, by utilising your skills and knowledge to achieve the required level of service expected and supervise your team to ensure this is maintained.Responsibilities (but not limited too):Manage and lead the restaurant team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service deliveryMonitor daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulationsCollaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and update menus that cater to our diverse clientele, including families and individuals with dietary restrictionsFoster a positive team environment, promoting teamwork, motivation, and open communication amongst staffMaintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring quality supplies and managing cost control measuresHandle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely mannerCollaborate with the hotel management team to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and increase customer satisfactionStay updated with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements in service quality and efficiencyCandidates must have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a family-friendly or upscale restaurant setting. Also strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.This is a full time permanent position with an annual salary between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, plus tips and company benefits.
