We’re looking to recruit a Contracts Administrative Assistant for our dynamic manufacturing client. The salary for this role is expected to be between £26,000 - £28,000 per annum.
* Monday to Thursday : 08:30 - 17:00
* Friday : 09:00 - 15:00
* 37.5 hours per week
Main roles and responsibilities:
* Coordinate and provide administrative support for the contracts team, assisting with documentation and systems to ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Work closely with the contracts delivery manager to plan, action, and document site information effectively.
* Maintain a comprehensive overview of projects, identify key dates, communicate with customers, and assess feasibility.
* Follow up on information required for pre-handover and ensure timely submission.
* Perform general administrative tasks such as invoicing, planning, pre-start documentation, and scanning of materials.
* Ensure client-supplied items arrive on time, are well-planned, and meet satisfactory standards.
* Collect, assign, and upload necessary documentation to onsite team software and project files.
* Support the development of procedures, policies, and documentation in line with legislative updates and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Adhere to all current and future Company, HR, H&S, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures.
* Follow reasonable instructions from other Managers, Heads of Departments, and Directors.
Skills and Qualities:
* Detail-oriented and methodical, with a strong focus on accuracy.
* Proficient in computer skills, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office.
* Confident and effective communicator.
* Knowledgeable in CDM regulations and on-site health and safety practices.
* Proactively seeks continuous improvement, ready to challenge other departments as needed
