The role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Logistics Coordinator (FLC) to join the Engineering Support Team at BAMG. The FLC is an integral member of the Engineering Support Team who works closely with both the Logistics, Inventory and Production teams with the responsibility to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, or vehicles for in-work aircraft are available to meet the aircraft maintenance plan and that data accuracy is maintained. The role will involve shift work.
What you’ll do:
1. Coordinates planned and unplanned materials, tools, equipment, or vehicles to support operational requirements and maintenance inputs, using initiative to overcome challenges.
2. Coordinates local data accuracy and assists in the clearance of unserviceable and serviceable materials including fit and remove support.
3. Ensures high quality communication take place with all shareholders, suppliers, and customers and that this takes place in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Ensures compliance with all appropriate company, legal and regulatory requirements, and any other regulations, as directed by line manager or the business.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
5. Level 2 (O Grade/Standard Grade/Nat 5) qualifications (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
6. Knowledge of supply chain management.
7. Good knowledge of BA Engineering IT systems, desirable.
8. Knowledge of IPC and Technical publications/information systems, desirable.
9. Ability to work shifts.
Your experience:
10. Highly proficient on EWS systems.
11. Numerate with good problem-solving ability.
12. Proven working knowledge of procedures and terminology applicable to aircraft maintenance, logistics and regulated environment.
13. Good influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
14. Working to deadlines and standards.
15. Strong organisational skills.
