We are recruiting for a Cardiology Data Coordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The opportunity to join our busy cardiology department as a data coordinator has become available. We are a 24/7 heart attack centre, with a 22 bedded Acute coronary care unit, busy outpatient department and 2 catheter labs. Nationally we are required to participate in Mandatory data collection and audits for all patients who have cardiac diagnosis such as Heart attacks, and heart failure, patients who have had cardiac procedure like PCI and pacemakers. Our Cardiology department we are looking for a data coordinator to oversea and manage this important task.
The post requires working hours covering between 08:00 -20:00 over Monday to Friday. Part-time positions are available as part of a jobshare and Flexible working is offered.

Main duties of the job
As a Cardiology Data Coordinator, you will be producing reports and providing analysis.
Maintain the National Audits for Cardiology - currently MINAP, BCIS, Heart Failure and Cardiac.
Rehabilitation, providing reports and analysis.
Audit, analyze and present monthly updates on the PPCI service.
The extraction, analysis and inputting of data from proformas onto the databases.
Develop in-depth knowledge of Cardiology National Databases and train others when necessary.
