Role: Associate Director - Ecology and Environment

Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum depending on experience + car allowance

My client, a world-leader in engineering, design consultancy and construction is looking for an Associate Director to join their growing team in Glasgow, to take the lead on the coordination and delivery of environmental work attached to nationally important infrastructure projects, managing project programmes and budgets.
Your role will involve directly managing a team of environmental professionals, being responsible for commercial aspects of projects including budget control, client liaison and leading on big preparation.
You will work a 40 hour week and your time will be split between my client's office in Glasgow and your home.
The ideal candidate will:
·Hold a degree (ideally a Masters) in an environmental or science subject;
·Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), or equivalent, and chartership (CEcol or CEnv) - my client will cover membership costs;
·Possess strong ecological and botanical knowledge, ideally with a Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) level 3+;
·Possess experience in project management and report writing;
·Possess experience in leadership within multidisciplinary teams as well as project management
·Have a full UK Driver's License.
