Job Duties:
* Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE exams
* Create individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and areas for improvement
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding of key subjects
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications:
A recognised teaching qualification
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Proven experience working with students with SEN, particularly in preparing them for GCSE examinations
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN practises and strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective lessons
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in Special Education Needs (SEN) would be advantageous
Working Conditions:
Part-Time role with flexible hours based on student needs
Work may involve travel to different locations within Basildon

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
