We are currently recruiting for aCustomer Liaison Officer for our client inCrewkerne.
The Customer Liaison Officer willplay a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and efficientinteraction between our esteemed customers and our internal teams.This role will also provide a high level of administration supportto the Operations Team
This role encompasses thefollowingresponsibilities:
* Yourresponsibilities will encompass both purchase and sales ordermanagement, logistics coordination, processing information throughour ERP systems, and providing timely and accurate communication toall stakeholders involved.
* Receive and reviewboth purchase orders and sales orders fromcustomers.
* Enter and process order informationaccurately into our ERP systems.
* Maintainaccurate and up-to-date purchase, sales and tracking records withinthe ERP system
* Ensure timely and accurateacknowledgment of received orders.
* Collaboratewith the warehouse dispatch team to schedule and dispatch orders inaccordance with customer requirements.
* Workwith engineering, production and dispatch teams to ensure deliverydeadlines are met
* Monitor shipment status andprovide timely updates to customers.
* Act as themain point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders,deliveries, and logistics.
* Collaborate withinternal teams to address customer queries and concernspromptly.
* Provide regular updates to customersregarding the status of their orders anddeliveries.
* Proactively identify and resolveissues related to orders, shipments, and customerrequests.
* Escalate complex issues to theappropriate teams and follow up to ensureresolution.
* Maintain comprehensive andorganized records of customer interactions, transactions, orderdetails, and logistics information.
* Generatereports as needed for management and otherstakeholders.

Key CompetenciesProvenexperience in customer service or a similar role, preferably in amanufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ERP systemsand order processing workflows.
Strong understanding oflogistics coordination and supply chainmanagement.
Excellent communication skills, both writtenand verbal.
Strong organizational and multitaskingabilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy andprecision.
Proficient in using Microsoft officepackages.
