Vision for Education are recruiting for Residential Support Workers for a SEND setting in Ribchester. The role is full time (Monday to Friday) which will start either ASAP or in September 2024 dependent on candidate availability and could result in a permanent contract from the setting following a qualifying period.
The role will be working as a support worker for a number of students in small groups and 1:1 with students with complex autism to support them with both life based skills, alongside a flexible, tailored curriculum in the core subjects (English and Maths) in the classroom during the school day.

Residential Support Workers are instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of any school. The most effective Residential Support Workers have excellent communication skills and have an interest and passion in supporting the day-to-day needs of all children. They are also able to build relationships with both staff, children and their families.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Residential Support Worker, you will:
1. Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
2. Have a warm and friendly nature to be able to build positive relationships with pupils.

Salary
£500 to £600 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
3. Desirable to have relevant prior experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
4. Desirable to hold a Level 2 qualification or equivalent
