Virgin Media O2 is expanding its Credit Risk team, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Risk insight Analyst to join the team. The role involves providing Credit Risk insights across our New and Existing consumer base. Diving into Credit Risk metrics with the creation and maintenance of Management information that will be the heartbeat of our Credit Risk Strategies.Provide strong insights through ad hoc analysis, identification of emerging trends, and revealing potential areas for improvement that will keep us steps ahead of the game.The successful candidate will be able to quickly fit into a fast-moving, innovative, and high-profile environment, and will be required to hit the ground running. Prior consumer lending experience in a credit risk function is therefore a prerequisite. The role involves managing and evaluating our decisioning strategies; candidates will be involved in setting direction and leading the way, whilst very much retaining a hands-on approach. The must haves In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
1. Be proficient in Credit Risk management using tools such as SQL / GCP / Tableau
2. Well versed in loan portfolios and determining risk exposure
3. Understanding of how analysis trasnlate into meaningful strategy change
4. Exposure to consumer credit data services - Bureau / Affordability / Behavioural
5. Demonstrated strong analytical and business problem solving skills; able to understand complex business system functionality and develop strategies
The other stuff we are looking for We'd also love you to bring;
6. Exposure of Credit Risk decisioning systems such as Powercurve
7. Telecommunications sector and/or Retail Finance exposure
8. Ability to work cross function for the product ionisation of Credit Risk MI
9. ML Modelling techniques exposure
