The Role :
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Art Teacher to join a well regarded Secondary School based on the outskirts of Cambridge. As an Art Teacher, you will deliver art lessons across different year groups (Key Stages 3 and 4), incorporating a variety of techniques and mediums. You will also encourage students to explore their creativity and express themselves through various art forms.
This is a permanent position starting from January 2025, or potentially sooner if you are available! If you are passionate about teaching Art and would love to be part of a welcoming school, this is the best place to start!

1. QTS (Qualified teaching status) is essential.
2. An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
3. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
4. Experience teaching art in a secondary school.
5. Strong portfolio showcasing diverse artistic skills and teaching methods.
6. Passion for fostering creativity and supporting student development.
Role & Responsibilities:
7. Set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students in their art studies.
8. Promote progress and positive outcomes for students by providing effective instruction.
9. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the subject and curriculum, fostering student's artistic knowledge and skills.
10. Plan and deliver well-structured art lessons that engage and accommodate the strengths and needs of all students.
11. Utilise assessment effectively and productively to inform instruction and monitor student progress.
