Sales Account Manager

Role overview
Based at our offices in Edinburgh and working in a hybrid capacity, we are currently recruiting for an Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for managing and nurturing existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a deep knowledge of our product offerings.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the multi-metal sector.
2. Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation and research.
3. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions based on our range of products and services.
4. Handle incoming customer inquiries, provide price quotes, and process orders promptly and accurately.
5. Collaborate closely with the external sales team to coordinate sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscapes.
7. Utilize our CRM system to maintain accurate and organized sales records and generate reports as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
8. Previous experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the multi-metal sector.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and build rapport.
10. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully close deals.
11. Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales software tools.
12. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
13. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
14. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
15. Knowledge of the multi-metal sector, including familiarity with different metal types and industry regulations, is preferred but not required. We are committed to providing training and support to qualified candidates who are eager to learn and grow within the sector.
