Where you’ll be working
Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre, Vicarage Road, Teddington TW EZ. Facilities at this centre include main and learner pools, hydrotherapy pool, fitness suite, spin studio and exercise studio. The centre is open to the public days a week from to pm. What you’ll be doing You’ll join our fitness team, providing professional and friendly tuition, carrying out inductions and designing personalised fitness programmes.
Making sure that all fitness suite users are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service and ensuring the facilities are clean and safe so that every customer has a great experience.You will also be responsible for maintenance/cleanliness procedures within the gym.Have a look at the job profile for full details on the varied role you can expect to be doing.
What we’ll need from you
You MUST be Level fitness qualified for this role and hold a valid first aid qualification. Some experience would also be desirable. (Applicants without valid fitness and first aid qualifications will be rejected).You’ll need knowledge and experience of fitness testing, inductions and designing personalised exercise programmes. Good customer care, financial, administrative, marketing and programming skills are essential.A key element of your job will be to develop the business as well as retaining existing customers.You’ll also need a good knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and service provision.You will be required to work a shift rota averaging hours per week, which is likely to include a mixture of weekdays and weekends.
