Consilium Recruit are working with a leading Manufacturing Consultancy seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to work on a 6 month Contract.
The Role:
To work with a range of clients visiting their facilities in Europe, completing thorough assessments of process variations to identify and analyse causes effecting production processes.
Working with internal Manufacturing Engineers, develop potential root causes and identify the data necessary to build models to validate root causes.
Determine, procure and implement an instrumentation suite to plan using sensing methods that will deliver required accurate data capture to validate root causes effecting production processes.
Complete detailed design of electrical assemblies, including wire specification, connectors and power distribution systems.
Consider long-term sensor and data acquisition deployment onto live production lines ensuring hardware and software is fit for purpose.
Provide on-going management of sensing and data acquisition technologies deployed ensuring continued quality via remote and site support.
Identify opportunities to create efficiencies, proactively driving costs down.
The Person
Degree of equivalent in an Engineering field.
Strong knowledge of digital sensing hardware and methodologies.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, specifically power distribution, wiring and connection methods.
Expertise in measurement systems and measurement systems analysis.
Strong communication and presenting skills.
Willingness to travel frequently.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and to budget.
