This position requires a proficient Finance Manager to join a Transport & Distribution company on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial health and offering financial advice and insights to aid business growth.

Description
* Oversee the financial operations of the company and ensure timely and accurate financial reports and practices.
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
* Prepare and produce Monthly Management Accounts and liaise with external Chartered Accountants
* Lead budget forecasting initiatives and manage financial planning.
* Coordinate tax and year end audit processes. Quarterly VAT Returns
* There will be a need to conduct some Payroll and HR related duties in addition to your core Finance role.
* Drive the company's financial strategic planning.
* Monitor risks and manage the company's Financial position.
* Offer financial insights and guidance to the company's leadership team.
* Ensure compliance with company's policies.
* Supervise 2 Staff
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified / QBE
* Excellent organisational, leadership and decision-making skills.
* MS office - Excel - Intermediate to advanced
